Healthy teeth
By Dr S V Bulatov - registered homeopath

The condition of our teeth determines to a large degree the level of health. The strength of the teeth is governed by kidneys. The pregnancy is a very important period for the tooth formation. It depends on mother’s mineral reserves.

Protein types (parasympathetics and fast oxidizers) should take an appropriate calcium supplement to ensure healthy teeth. Carbohydrate types (sympathetics and slow oxidizers) should take potassium, magnesium, copper, zinc, manganese to ensure good assimilation of calcium.

Mixed types should take a balanced mineral supplement daily. The teeth are affected by the quality of the water. Tap water contains too many chemicals. Drink filtered or bottled water. Exposure to the sun increases vitamin D production in the skin. This vitamin is essential for strong teeth.

Gluten and lactose intolerance cause weakening of the enamel and tooth deterioration. Very cold and very hot drinks and foods affect the teeth negatively. Excessive consumption of sugar, coffee, tea, carbonated drinks, fruit juices, smoking, alcohol and refined flours causes tooth decay.

Grinding teeth leads to damage of the enamel. Wear a tooth guard. Amalgam fillings evaporate mercury all the time. They change the electrical current of the tooth. The density of amalgam and dentin is different. This creates a subtle current affecting the whole body via meridians. Each tooth corresponds to an organ.

For an example, the incisors correspond with kidneys and bladder, canines – with gall bladder and liver, molars – with stomach, spleen, pancreas, lungs and colon and wisdoms – with small intestines and heart. Any amalgam, root canal treatment and tooth abscess affects the corresponding organ. See a dentist every 6 months and resolve the problem on time.

Avoid fluoride tablets, toothpaste and mouthwash. They are toxic for the body. Use fluoride free toothpaste and mouthwash. Floss every day. Look after your teeth to ensure a beautiful smile, good chewing of food and healthy body.
