Liver detoxification

The liver is the biggest body organ. It is involved in many biochemical pathways. One of its functions is to detoxify the blood from all substances that could harm the cells.

Often a stressful lifestyle, genetic defects, infections and taking prescription medication overwhelm the liver. The toxins keep re-circulating through the bile into the gut and back to the liver. The person could develop muscle and joint pains, tiredness, sinus congestion, mood swings, depression, headaches, etc. These body signals require liver detoxification. Here are some of the most effective methods:

  1. The juice of 2-3 lemons in 2-3 liters of purified water per day for 1 month.
  2. The mixture of freshly squeezed vegetable juices:
    • carrot - 200 ml
    • beetroot - 100 ml
    • cucumber - 100 ml
    • turnip - 100 ml
    • lemon - 50 ml

    Drink every morning before breakfast for 1 month.

  3. 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil mixed with 1 tablespoon of lemon or grapefruit juice before going to bed for 1 month.
  4. Milk thistle, dandelion, turmeric, bupleurum and wormwood, cool blue, livoclear, etc.
  5. Fruit, salads and vegetables only for 1 month.
  6. Liver flush. Follow a vegetarian diet for 6 days. Drink a mixture of freshly squeezed apple juice 500ml and beetroot juice 500ml daily. Stop eating at 13:00 on 6th day.

    Take 30g of Epsom salts in a glass of water at 14:00 and 18:00. Prepare a mix of extra virgin olive oil 250ml and freshly squeezed lemon juice 250ml before 20:00. Shake the bottle every time. Drink about 60ml of it every 15 min from 20:00 to 22:00 while lying down on your right side for 2 hours.

    Prepare a hot bottle, place it under your right ribcage and go to bed lying on your right side latest at 22:30. Drink the last glass of Epsom salts at 6:00 next morning. Stay at home the whole day as you are going to experience a severe diarrhea. Observe what comes out.

    Start the vegetarian diet the next day for 6 days followed by a metabolic type eating plan. Repeat the procedure every 4-6 weeks for 6-12 months. It is essential for the liver’s health to introduce healthy foods and drinks after the detoxification. Lifestyle change would extend the benefits of this process. Avoid animal fat, butter, ghee, fried foods, margarine, canola oil, coffee, ordinary tea, carbonated drinks, sugar, refined flours, alcohol, Aromat, sauces, salad dressings and artificial hormones completely.
